We strongly advise against drugstore boil-and-bite guards. They are bulky, trigger more clenching due to soft squishy plastic, can alter your bite permanently, and easily dislodge during sleep. Custom CAD/CAM guards fit like a glove and safely balance your jaw.

How long do custom night guards last?+

High-quality custom dual-laminate guards typically last 3 to 5 years, depending on the severity of your grinding habit. Dr. Amit inspects your guard at every 6-month checkup.

How do I clean my night guard or retainer?+

Rinse it with cool water after each use and brush gently with a soft toothbrush and mild antibacterial soap. Never use hot water, as it can warp the custom thermoplastic fit.
